Here's the next chapter of The Crying Dragon. If we release one chapter a week, we'll be done on January 27, 2017. To put that in perspective, I bet Akagi won't be done by then, so I'm not concerned about it.

Naki no Ryuu Chapter 3

Another chapter of Ryuu is upon us. It looks like Friday may become the de facto day for Ryuu, just because I've coincidentally released a new chapter three Fridays in a row. Penchan is a very prolific editor though, so if I can keep up we may be able to go even faster than weekly.

Naki no Ryuu Chapter 2

Another chapter of Ryuu is here. This chapter is where things start to pick up, and is not so coincidentally the starting point of the OVA series. The awkward sex scenes also go away after this chapter, so don't drop it just yet!

New Project: Naki no Ryuu

Denji here. You may know me as the translator of The New Kurosawa for FKMTkrazy. Well, I'm here to give the highly neglected Mahjongkrazy branch even more love, because I've started translating the hotly-anticipated Naki no Ryuu. The title means "The Crying Dragon," but it's also a pun, since the word "naki" means "to call a tile" (don't believe that MAL description that says it means ron, it doesn't).

A big thanks to Penchan for volunteering to clean and typeset the series. He's done a very good job with the horrid public scans that are out there.

A special thanks to my best friend Celysus as well, who was the one that convinced me to start this project. At the beginning of 2014 I started translating things for the first time, and told him that I'd translate anything he wanted. He said Naki no Ryuu, so I dived in. However, I wasn't good enough at the time, and I could barely understand it. I tried going through and revising my scripts on and off for quite a while, slowly correcting things that I had newly learned. Finally, when Penchan contacted me about the project a couple weeks ago, I made a last revision where I finally felt confident that I understood everything.

Anyways, after the jump I'll talk a bit about the story. I don't have much to say, but from time to time I might make some notes.

A revival of MahjongKrazy/Tetsuya, after a few years of nothing.

Good evening, you damn punks.

In case you haven't noticed already, I started updating Tetsuya about 3 weeks ago, since Skutieos dissapeared without a trace after winning a deadly match of Mahjong against the Long Dong Zaibatsu's rep player, Juan.

I started translating from where Skutieos left off, volume three, chapter 15, and I've done up to chapter 21.

Translating from Japanese to English was kinda tough, especially since neither are my main languages. I felt like sometimes the dialogue came off as a bit stiff because of that, I hope that's not the case. This is the first thing I've ever translated, so give me your thoughts about the chapters, be it good or bad.
